As there are many modes of transportations in Sri Lanka, experience this unique tour with one of our local guides, meet our local guide at the Port, take a Tuk Tuk ride to the Fort railway station, at the station you will be able to see the local daily commuters, Newspaper/snacks sellers. Experience the Sri Lankan train ride along the coastal line down to Mount Lavinia, take a walk from the Mount Lavina station witnessing the colonial Mount Lavina Hotel and a walk along the beach would definitely be nice. There is a vast range of restaurants in the area for your preferred Sri Lankan, Indian or a Sea Food dish. After lunch you will proceed back to Colombo by bus. It is normal that you might see people standing on the bus when the seats are full. You will by pass the commercial buildings, shops, offices etc. Once you reach Colombo fort you can proceed on a city and a shopping tour of Colombo before concluding the tour.
