Thudugala Ella waterfall

King Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe’s Prison Cell

Long story short, in 1815 King Sri Wikckrama Rajasinghe the las king, was captured by the British rulers and celled here prior to transporting him to India. The British kept the king in this small cell separately to prevent rebellion. You can find pictures of the King with the queen if you peek through bars of the cell.

Old Kathiresan Temple

A Place quite popular among the locals, this is a South Indian style temple and the oldest Hindu temple in Colombo. The fine architecture and the colorfulness make the temple so special.
