Ridi Viharaya is a Buddhist temple built in 2^nd CE by King Dutugamunu as gratitude for providing silver for the construction of Ruwanweli Maha Seya in Anuradhapura which is the main stupa in the Buddhist culture in Sri Lanka. Ridi Viharaya is located in Ridigama known as the village which had a silver ore.

Yapahuwa Rock Fortress is a transit Kingdom of ancient Sri Lanka. It was built in 1272 on a granite rock rising around 100 meters from the low lands surrounded. Yapahuwa is not only a palace but also a military stronghold.

The world tallest Buddha statue is located in the ancient Kingdom of Sri Lanka ( 14^th Century ), today called, Kurunegala. This statue is on the “Athugala” meaning Elephant Rock overlooking at Kurunegala city. The statue is 67.5ft tall and carved on a granite stone.
