Negombo Dutch Fort

Negombo Dutch port originally built by Portuguese and later redesigned by Dutch in 16 centuries. If you are interested in historical architectural ruins over 300 years old, this is one of the best places. This port was a strategic location in line with Galle, Colombo, and Jaffna ports.

Kelaniya Raja Maha Vihara

Kelaniya Raja Maha Viharaya is a main sacred and religious temple near Colombo.  This temple has a history from 5th century BC. It is believed that Lord Buddha has hollowed Kelaniya during the third visit to Sri Lanka.

Dutch Canal

If you are visiting the Fishing village in Negombo this ride is a must-do along with that, take a boat ride through the Dutch Canal to witness the fishing activities of the locals, and the birdlife here is amazing also makes a perfect spot to take pictures.

Negombo Fishing Village

Negombo is famous for its long sandy beaches and centuries-old fishing industry. The shallow waters of the Negombo lagoon provide safe sheltering for seafaring vessels. The Negombo fishing village also was known as Lellama by the locals is located across the lagoon bridge, near the old Dutch gate.
